Activities:
  •  Attended Planning & Zoning Meeting. Actions taken include the following:

 

          Endorsed the Visioning Plan for Town Commission consideration at its July

          18, 2007 regular meeting.

 

          Continued discussions regarding regulations for docks and waterfront      

          accessory buildings.

 

          Scheduled discussions on the Ocean Avenue Redevelopment Plan,

          Breezeway Ordinance, and Bed & Breakfast establishments in 8-B

          Residential Business Zoning District by Special Exception for the next

          regular Planning & Zoning Board meeting to be held on Monday, August 6,

          2007 at 7:00 P.M. in the Community Center.

 

  • Accepted delivery of the new fire truck.

 

  • Conducted interview with two (2) applicants for the Chief of Police. Applicants interviewed are:

 

                 Robert Downey - Lieutenant; Allegheny County Police Department;   

                 Pittsburgh, PA

 

                 Wayne Fryer - Former District Commander; Montgomery County, MD

                 Police Department. Current - Deputy Director, National Law Enforcement

                 & Corrections Technology Center.

 

  • Attended "Meet the Police Chief Candidates" event held in the Community Center.
