– May 21-25, 2007
- Received
notification from Insurance Services Office (ISO) of intent to review
existing ISO rating in June/July for the Building Department. Current rating is Class 3 on a scale of
1-10, with 1 being highest.
- Public
Works staff completed rebuilding Fourth Avenue
beach crossover.
- Conducted
telephone interviews with four (4) additional candidates for the Police
Chief position.
- Attended
Visioning Session to finalize goals and objectives formulated during
previous sessions. Revised document will be presenting to Planning and
Zoning for endorsement on July 2,
2007, and the Town Commission at a regular meeting for
adoption.
- Attended
Board of Adjustment meeting. Actions taken include:
1. Continued
the Special Exception Use application for Sand on the Beach to June 28, 2007 to provide applicant
time to submit additional information regarding the proposed development.
2. Approved
variance for construction seaward of the coastal setback line for the
construction of a single family residence at 801
Atlantic Street for David Packey
and Clare Marie Tomaselli
3. Continued
the rehearing to consider the variance application for the Chevron Station
until August 23, 2007 due
to the pending legal issue.
- Reviewed
budget for FY08 to identify potential areas for reductions in response to
anticipated property tax reform measures. Planned budget preparation
process to begin following Legislation Special Session June 12-22, 2007.
