A workshop of the Town Commission of the Town of Melbourne Beach, Florida was called
to order by Mayor Wille at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 in the Commission Room
at Town Hall.

INTERVIEW APPLICANTS FOR THE POSITION OF TOWN MANAGER
7:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. MICHAEL L. BRILLHART
The Town Commission introduced themselves to Michael L. Brillhart and Mr. Brillhart briefly discussed
his background and reasons for applying for the Town Manager position. The Town Commission interviewed
Mr. Brillhart for the position of Town Manager from 7:08 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
8:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. ROBERT T. MEARNS
The Town Commission introduced themselves to Robert T. Mearns and Mr. Mearns briefly discussed his
background and reasons for applying for the Town Manager position. The Town Commission interviewed
Mr. Mearns from 8:05 p.m. until 9:12 p.m.
9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. WILLIAM M. HOSKOVEC
The Town Commission held a second interview with Mr. Hoskovec for the Town Manager position from 9:13 p.m.
until 10:10 p.m.
The Town Commission discussed the three applicants interviewed for the Town Manager position at length.
The Town Commission discussed that they believe there is someone in this group they can work with as
Town Manager, subject to a background check.
As the Town Commission had interviewed William M. Hoskovec a second time, it is the consensus of the
Town Commission to asked Michael L. Brillhart back for a second interview on either Thursday, February
21st or Friday, February 22nd at 7:00 p.m. and that a special meeting be held following the workshop to
discuss the Town Manager position.
The workshop of the Town Commission of the Town of Melbourne Beach, Florida adjourned at
10:50 p.m.
