A workshop of the Town Commission of the Town of Melbourne Beach, Florida was called to order by 
Mayor Wille at 7:04 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2002 in the Commission Room at Town Hall.

Vice Mayor Smith
Commissioner Crispen
Commissioner Walters

INTERVIEW APPLICANTS FOR THE TOWN MANAGER POSITION
7:00 PM – 8:30 PM       DAVID SALLEE
The Town Commission introduced themselves to David Sallee and Mr. Sallee introduced himself to the 
Town Commission and briefly discussed his background and reasons for applying for the Town Manager position.  
The Town Commission interviewed David Sallee for the position of Town Manager from 7:04 p.m. until 8:28 p.m.

8:30 PM – 10:00 PM    JOHN P. KETTERINGHAM

The Town Commission introduced themselves to John Ketteringham and Mr. Ketteringham introduced himself to the 
Town Commission and briefly discussed his background and reasons for applying for the Town Manager position.  
The Town Commission interviewed Mr. Ketteringham  for the position of Town Manager from 8:35 p.m. until 9:25 p.m.

The Town Commission discussed applicants David Sallee and John Ketteringham.  Vice Mayor Smith suggested 
that the Town Commission discuss a policy for communications between the Town Manager and Town Commission 
at the workshop when policies are discussed for the Town Commission members.

The Town Commission requested a list of those applicants who would be next on the list to be interviewed and a 
list of the applicants from Brevard County to be supplied prior to the January 10, 2002 workshop.

The workshop ended at 10:00 p.m.
